I'm Fester. My journey at the shelter first started when I was brought in the be neutered with the TNR program. After my surgery I was released back to my cat colony. After several months I returned because I was very sick. It's a little embarrassing to say, but I had terrible GI upset! Test were sent away and everything came back normal, I was put on special food and medicine, but nothing helped. The staff wasn't sure if I was going to make it or not! Then one day they decided to let me eat whatever I wanted and took me off of my medication, after several weeks I was feeling better and even becoming more social! Since then I've made a lot of new friends, I even get to share an office with the Shelter Manager. I still have occasional GI upset but I'm doing much better. I would love to have a forever home, that just accepts me for being Fester!
